Web3.0 in cognition:
Like Roland Barthes wrote in his famous 1967 essay, The Death of the Author, there is no one ultimate interpretation of what WEB3 should be, and everyone has their own view on it. Before we dive deeper, let’s take a look at the predecessors, Web1 and Web2.
Web1 refers to the Internet of the 1990s and early 2000s — an internet of blogs, message boards, and early portals like AOL and CompuServe. Most people on Web1 read static web pages passively.
Web2 is the successor of Web1, started around 2005, and can be seen as the genesis of social media giants such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Under the Web2 model, a bigger portion of the population began to create and publish their content, actively participating online rather than being passive readers. But in the end, most of these activities are monetized by large corporations, and most of the capital and control are also appropriated by large corporations, whereas the creators only receive a few drops of benefits.
Now shifting the camera to Web3, DAO is a crucial element in the foundation of Web3, providing users with democratic governance that Web2 platforms do not have. At the same time, rights and ownership are readjusted to favor the builders, creators, and users. To expand further, the financial status, investment status, contribution, etc., of Web3 are also more transparent, and, in my opinion, make it a heaven for diligent contributors to the space. The value of your contribution will not be controlled and evaluated by a few board members. Instead, you receive a more direct, non-exploitative appreciation for the same workload.
Why participate in Web3.0:
We are at the edge of innovation, with doubts and uncertainties overflowing in the air. It is possible that the only way to know whether the age of Web3 is upon us is to look back in ten years.
That said, as netizens, most of us saw our parents miss out on the boom of Web1 because of their lack of foresight, many of us also missed out on the explosion of Web2 because we didn’t have enough resources or skillsets to capitalize on the opportunities. And now, you have the opportunity to seize everything you’ve ever wanted. Would you capture it? Or just let it slip?
Wealth is created in probabilities, not certainties.
That’s why I believe none of us should let this opportunity pass.
The capital market is insatiable and sometimes even more panicky. No leading Web2 company, or capital management firm will miss out on the opportunity to be a superpower in this new era. Because a simple examination of the transformation from Web1 to Web2 shows that falling behind will bring their ultimate destruction.
We can view Web3 as a product ecosystem based on Blockchain. This includes the infrastructure blockchain, exchanges, financial structures, security providers, and platforms for communication, they all serve the entire Web3. As more and more funds pour into Web3, traffic will grow, products will be migrated from Web2 to Web3, then legislations around Web3 will become more effective. That’s when the golden age of Web3 will be ushered in. The current Web3 is still greatly undervalued, and any way of participating in the ecosystem should be a worthwhile consideration.
Web3.0+DAO:
From my point of view, the DAO mechanism is the most effective and transparent method to participate in web3 startups or investments:
- Benchmark equity mechanism: Fully exercise and enjoy voting rights and dividend rights
- Excellent talent attraction mechanism: DAO members collectively determine the correlation between contributors’ workload and pay.
- Contributions by the whole community: DAO is the equity pool of all of its members, and everyone in the community is incentivized to work hard for the same goal.
- Transparency: Decision-making, product progress, financial reports, capital health, etc. are transparent for all to see.
- Distributed work and flexible scheduling cycles are inviting incentives when considering participating in DAOs as a side business.
Finally, why PandaDAO:

Web3带给疫情下工作选择的新思考
认知中的Web3.0：
就像一千个人心中就有一千个哈姆雷特，每个人对Web3有不同的见解，在此之前我们先回顾一下web1.0和web2.0。
Web1指的是20世纪90年代和21世纪初的互联网。由博客、留言板以及AOL和CompuServe这类早期门户网站组成的互联网。人们在Web1上基本上都是被动地阅读静态网页。
Web2是Web1的下一阶段，始于2005年左右，可以理解为是Facebook、Twitter和YouTube等社交媒体巨头的诞生时代。在Web2模式下，人们开始创建和发布自己的内容，主动参与互联网，而不再是单纯地被动阅读。但最终，这些活动大部分被大公司用来货币化，大部分资金和控制权也被大公司据为己有。
那么回头来看Web3，DAO是Web3中的重要血液，给予了一种Web2平台所不具备的方式进行民主治理，同时权利和所有权重新向构造者、创作者、用户倾斜。进一步展开来说，在Web3财务状况、投资情况、贡献等更加透明，在我的认知中这更像一个积极贡献者的天堂，你的贡献价值将不被少数权利掌握者把持与评价，付出相同工作量的情况下，你可收获更直接的、无剥削的价值评价。
为什么参与Web3.0：
也许Web3已经来了，也许没有，可能需要额外十年后回头才能知晓它是否真的曾经到来，我们身处时代的浪潮中，带着只缘身在此山中的疑惑与不确定性，又如何能给一个未来十年后才知晓的正确答案。但是，错过Web1时代的红利可能是你父母在认知中没有及时抓住，错过Web2时代的红利可能是你自己处在尴尬时代没有资本没有实力抓住，Web3时代也许已经开始，哪怕是存在可能性我觉得也不应该错过，无论是以一个投资者或建造者的身份。
资本是贪婪的更是恐慌的，任何一个头部的Web2企业、投资公司、转型企业等，都不会放过新时代变革的机遇，一旦落后就代表着被时代的无情抛弃，将Web3看成是基于区块链而生的产业群生态，无论是底层的链、交易所、金融架构、安全公司、甚至是针对区块链进行交流的平台等等，都是为整个Web3服务的；当更多更多的资金涌入Web3、更多更多的流量涌入了Web3、越来越多的产品从Web2平移到Web3、越来越多的监管方式/信任机制在Web3产生，那么Web3就将迎来真正的盛世。当前的Web3本身就是一个巨大价值洼地，从哪一种角度加入Web3是值得思考的。
Web3.0+DAO：
在我个人角度来看，DAO机制是参与web3创业或者投资最有效最明确目标的方式：
1. 对标股权机制，充分行使与享受投票权与分红权
2. 优秀人才吸引机制，DAO本身决定了付出与回报的直接关系
3. 所有参与者的努力，DAO等于全员股权池，社区（公司）所有人在为同一个目标努力
4. 透明性，决策、产品进展、财报、资金健康等等是透明的
5. 分布式办工与排期周期灵活，无疑适合参与建设者在考虑成为副业时一个重点
最后为什么 PandaDAO：
